Over the years, I have wandered through every nook and corner of Sri Lanka – from hidden jungle trails and quiet coastal villages to bustling towns steeped in culture, yet, every journey still brings something new. That sense of discovery, that spark in my eye – it is the magic of Sri Lanka that continues to inspire me.
This island is more than a destination. It is a living, breathing tapestry of natural beauty, rich history, and above all, its people – warm, resilient, and full of heart. That, to me, is Sri Lanka’s greatest treasure and it is a story I want the world to experience.
That desire led me to pursue a Bachelor’s in International Tourism Management with Honours in Malaysia followed by a Master’s in International Tourism & Hospitality Leadership in Australia – so I could combine my passion with purpose, and truly understand how to craft meaningful, authentic travel experiences. Alongside my academic journey, I have also worked within the tourism and hospitality industry, gaining hands-on experience.
That is how Island Legacy was born – from a deep desire to share the wonder of this island with others. To invite others into the story of Sri Lanka – one of beauty, belonging, and experiences that leave a lasting imprint.
